Why four hands feel so different

With two therapists working at once, your mind cannot follow every movement, and that is the point. Instead of tracking where the pressure goes next, you stop thinking and simply let go. Many guests say a four hand hour feels longer and deeper than two hours of regular massage.

How it works

• Two therapists, one rhythm. They usually mirror each other, one on each side, so both sides of the body are worked at the same moment.
• Your style. Four hand can be done in a flowing oil style or with more Thai-style pressure. Tell us which you prefer.
• Your pressure. Ask for gentler or firmer work at any point. Both therapists adjust together.

Who it suits

Four hand massage is for the times you want something special: a big birthday, the end of a brutal quarter, or a treat for someone who already loves massage. It also suits people who find it hard to switch off, because the overload of sensation quiets a busy head quickly.

When to choose something else

If you are pregnant, injured, or feel uneasy with two people working at once, a one-to-one massage is a better choice. Please tell us about any health conditions when you book.

Booking tips

Because two therapists need to be free at the same time, four hand massage is best booked ahead, especially for evenings and weekends. A $50 deposit holds your time. If you would like to give it as a gift, call us and we will help.
